Michal Rakay

Michal joined IPM in 2021 and is responsible for leading the group shared services involving finance, HR, secretary services, office management and IT support functions. Michal has over 15 years of experience in finance and is an ACCA fellow member as well as certified statutory and state auditor.

Prior to joining IPM, Michal acted as a group CFO at Salve Group, specializing in financial intermediation and advisory, real estate, education and health. He was actively involved in setting up financial products and implementing the EOS operating system in the subsidiaries.

Michal worked at PwC for 13 years, where in his final years he acted as an audit manager specializing in auditing banks and financial institutions. He also participated in a secondment program in New Zealand where he was responsible for managing the audit of a listed big 4 international bank. On top of auditing, Michal was actively involved in building auditing teams specializing in banks and financial institutions and developing young talents. He helped his coaches with participating in overseas secondment or transfer programs.

Michal also acted as a lecturer at PwC Academy where he provided trainings on IFRS, Finance for financial institutions and auditing standards and practices. Furthermore, Michal taught English, finance and accounting at the school for disabled children.
